Teams sign up for either the 1 p.m. session or 3 p.m. session with $200 going to the winning team. The presentation of prize money and the results of the 50/50 drawing follow the second session.
Dollars for Scholars hopes to sign up 18 teams to be able to fund four scholarships this year.
"It's the biggest fundraiser we do and we usually run around $1,600 for scholarship. The goal is always to get three scholarships out of that, but this year the goal is four scholarship," Dollars for Scholars Board Member Cody Cusic said.
Each scholarship is for $500.
Other fundraisers are the 5K race to coincide with the Eldorado Men's Club fireworks show in July, a penny pitch in the spring and the Purple and Gold Members program with about 25 households signed up as donors.
Last year with donations from Ken Haney and Aaron and Janie Jackson the organization gave away eight $500 scholarships.
Bowling tournament registration forms and more information on Dollars for Scholars is at the Web site www.ehsdollarsforscholars.org
Bowling tournament entry is $100 per team of four players and each team bowls three games.
