Obituary: Kenneth E. Belt

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Kenneth E. Belt, 61, Harrisburg, passed away at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 29, 1950, in Marion, Ky., to the late Clarence and Helen Woffard Belt. He was married to the former Louise Foster on May 10, 1969, in Elizabethtown.

Ken was the yard foreman at Bunge Corp. for 35 years before retiring. He attended Pankeyville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; two sons, James K. Belt and Georgiann Fisk of Harrisburg and Kevin Belt of Marion; two daughters, Jenna Foster and Jennifer Casteel, both of Harrisburg; three brothers, Gene and Austin Belt of Cunningham, Tenn. and John Wayne Belt of Marion, Ky.; four sisters, Louise Kirk of Marion, Ky., Evelyn Stormone of Wisconsin Dels, Wis., Brenda Beck of Kaufman, Texas and Tina Rushing of Marion, Ky.; and his best friend, Bobby Owens of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Helen Woffard Belt; and one sister, Joyce King.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at the J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Nyberg officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Cemetery near Herod.
