Obituary: John B. Stallings

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[John B. Stallings, 82, of Eldorado passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Ferrell Hospital.

John was born in Cottonwood on June 14, 1929, a son of the late Ella Jane (Magee) and Benjamin Tillman Stallings.

He was a cab driver for Mota Yates.

He was the husband of Helen (Omohundro) Stallings, who survives.

John is survived by two sons, John (Cheryl) Stallings of Galatia and Joe Stallings of Eldorado; and two grandchildren, Chelsea Stallings and Dalton Stallings, both of Galatia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings, Truman, Albert, Pauline, Bonnie, Lorene and Velma.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with funeral services at 7 p.m. Cremation will follow. The Rev. Russell Helton will officiate.
