Obituary: Nina L. Lane

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Nina L. Lane, 76, of Ridgway, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, in Ferrell Hospital.

Nina was born on April 14, 1935, in Junction to the late Claricee and Edith (Kingston) Ledbetter.

Nina was a member of the Church of God in Shawneetown. She liked to be around her family and friends and always had a joking word for you. She was a good wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Lane of Ridgway; three daughters, Rosalie Jackson of Junction, Debbie McCarty of Junction and Marilyn Martin of Joshua, Texas; four stepdaughters; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Ernest Ledbetter, her stepfather, he raised her; and two brothers, Delbert Reeder and Don Ledbetter.

Visitation for Nina will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway. Her funeral will begin at 2 p.m. that day at the funeral home. The Rev. Randy Vaughn will officiate and interment will follow in the Westwood cemetery in Shawneetown.
