She was born April 3, 1956, to Delores and the late Leroy Smith. She was the sister of Lee Roy Smith and Greg Minor. Pamela was united in marriage to Vernon Gene Vinson Jr. for 37 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Darla (Scott) Graham and Priscilla Ann (Christopher) Stewart. She was the grandmother of Alexander Lee Jackson, Austen Lee Ryan Jackson, Abbie Clair Graham, Levi Vernon Vinson, Gabriel Joseph Stewart and Lyvia Joleigh Stewart.
A devout Christian, Pamella loved singing, knitting, reading and spending quality time with family and friends; especially her grandchildren. Pamella's life would seem too short to many, but her existence has brought many closer to God.
Services for Pam will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation from noon to the funeral hour. The Rev. Kevin Peyton will officiate with burial in the Tate's Chapel Cemetery
