Obituary: Shannon Ray Upchurch

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Shannon Ray Upchurch, 45, of Harrisburg, passed away at 12:22 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Shannon was born on Jan. 28, 1966, in Saline County to Lynda (Henson) Upchurch and the late Glendle Upchurch.

Surviving family members include his mother, Lynda Upchurch of Harrisburg; four children, Brandon Upchurch of Harrisburg, Dylon Yates of Harrisburg, Dustin Sherrer of Harrisburg, and Dakota Upchurch of Harrisburg; brother, Brian Upchurch and wife Emily of Harrisburg; and two nieces, Parker and Addison Upchurch.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glendle Upchurch; and brother, Brandon Lee Upchurch in infancy.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. There will be no funeral services. Burial will follow at a later date.
