Obituary: Lindale Ray Morris
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lindale Ray Morris, 58, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at home in the comfort of his family.
He was born on June 9, 1953, in Eldorado to John W. and Grace (Wells) Morris. He was a shift supervisor YS4 at Illinois Youth Center. Lindale liked to fish and camp, loved spending time with grandkids, loved the Cardinals and enjoyed traveling. He was sure of his salvation and was a member of Harrisburg First Baptist Church, active on the Fellowship Committee, enjoyed making snacks for Bible School and cooking for 3-L.
On Aug. 2, 1991, Lindale married the former Cindy Caldwell and she survives. In addition to his wife Cindy, Lindale is survived by his parents, John and Grace Morris of Eldorado; son, Brian (Heather) Morris of Marion; daughter, Sherrie (Amy) Morris, St. Louis, Mo.; son, Nate Morris of Harrisburg; daughter, Dr. Andi (Jeff) Miller; son, Dr. Eric (Theresa) Glass of Wentzville, Mo.; grandchildren, Lydia, Luke, Mark, Isaac, Maya, Declan, Owen and one on the way in March; two sisters, Beverly (Mart) Watson of Eldorado and Karen (Dean) Stucker of Galatia; a sister-in-law, Linda Hampton of Harrisburg; and the following nieces and nephews, Dennis (Joyce) Watson of Harrisburg, Tammy Watson Davis of Eldorado and Kevin Stucker of Metropolis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Chris Winkleman will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Reed Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to 4 C's, Choisser Kitchen or Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
