Obituary: Loretta Marie Noe

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Loretta Marie Noe, 85, a resident of Carrier Mills, died 12:32 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 11, 1926, in Hardin County, Ky., to Cornelious William McKinley Evans and Lettie Dell (Goodman) Evans. She married the Rev. Paul Noe on July 31, 1954, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 2005.

She worked as a cook and was a member of Gaskins City Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda (Chuck) Smith of Mesa, Ariz.; two sons, Danny (Katie) Noe of Sherwood, Ore. and Bobby Noe of Carrier Mills; four grandchildren, Christie Coll, Michael Smith, Wesley Noe and Elizabeth Noe; and four great-grandchildren, Brittany Lynn, Alek Preston, Dylan and Grayson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Carroll Dale Lucas; and two sisters, LeeEtta Todd and Doris Odell Mattingly.

Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, at the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Roy Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Carrier Mills.

Loretta, you were loved as a wife, mother, grandma, aunt and friend. We will miss you. "Love you Mom"
