A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, the former Kathy J. Phillips; three sisters; and a brother-in-law.
