Obituary: Maggie R. Foster

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Maggie R. Foster, 94, 324 E. Washington St., Carrier Mills, died 9:09 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Herrin Hospital.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Derek Euarles officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born on Feb. 22, 1917, in Carrier Mills to the late Jacob and Emmaline (Drue) Rouse. She married Walter R. Foster, who preceded her in death on June 12, 1990.

She was a retired photographer and a member of the First Opportunity Freewill Baptist Church in Carrier Mills.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Geneva Evans; and three brothers, Orval Rouse, Albert Rouse and Nathaniel Rouse.
