Obituary: Floyd E. Partain

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Floyd E. Partain, 67, of Marion passed away at 6:25 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services for Floyd will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. John Howat officiating. A time of visitation will start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and last until service time at the funeral home. Interment is scheduled for after the services in Liberty Methodist Cemetery on Galatia Post Road. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.

Floyd was born on Saturday, July 8, 1944, in Harrisburg to Clifford and Ethel (Swan) Partain. He married Brenda Swan at Aldersgate Methodist Church on Saturday, May 15, 1965.

Mr. Partain is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Brenda; daughter, Kim and David Anglin of Harrisburg; grandson, Shawn Anglin of Harrisburg; aunts; uncles; several friends and special friend, an African Gray bird named "Joey."

Floyd is preceded by his parents and an infant sister.

Mr. Partain was a member of Mt. Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed cooking and traveling.
