Obituary: Emily Louise Harless

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Emily Louise Harless, 88, of Harrisburg, passed away at 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at the Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg.

Emily was born on April 18, 1923, in Williamson County to the late Cecil Rice and Gayzelle (Swan) Rice.

She was a hairdresser, and a member of Buena Vista Community Church.

Emily is survived by several stepchildren, Betty Hawks, Donna Lindsey, Mary Kea, Larry Harless and Ricky Harless; three cousins, Virginia Hyers of Harrisburg, Edwarda Griffith of Harrisburg and Helen Beal of Harrisburg; and several close friends, Norma Dearing of Harrisburg, Craig Blue of Harrisburg, Rodney Redwine of Evansville, Ind. and Terri and Darrel Redwine of Harrisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. G.E. Coultas will officiate; burial will follow in Sunset Garden Cemetery.
