Obituary: Stanley Pulliam
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Stanley Pulliam, 78, of 815 Sally Holler Road, Harrisburg, died Saturday. Nov. 12, 2011, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.
He was born in Eldorado on Jan. 13, 1933, to the late Nola (Poppins) and she preceded him in death. On July 25, 1953, he married the former Patricia Ann McDaniel and she preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2009. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from Petrolane and Amerigas. He served on the Eldorado City Council for three terms from 1983 to 1995.
Surviving are two sons, Rod Pulliam of Ridgway and Jeff (Gina) Pulliam of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Josh Pulliam of Urbana, Conner Pulliam of Eldorado, Cooper Pulliam of Mt. Juliet, Tenn. and April Kring of Lebanon, Tenn.; three great-grandchildren, Carter, Caleb and Caden Kring. Also surviving are two brothers Denzel Pulliam of St. Louis, Mo. and Ray Pulliam of Harrisburg; and a sister, Dathen Genet of Eldorado.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dalton and Donald Pulliam.
Funeral services for Stanley will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at the Watson Funeral Home with Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to service time on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wolf Creek Cemetery and left at the funeral home.
