Laughs in store Wednesday night for audience of HMS fairytale play

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Harrisburg Middle School will be putting on their fall play Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Karen McKlusky is directing the play, and has big hopes for the performance, which tells the "true" story of Jack and the Beanstalk.

"It's a cute story," said McKlusky. "I laugh every time I see it."

The play is a "fractured fairytale," which means the characters are from the fairytale kingdom, but the humor is for adults.

"It provides something for new and old alike," said McKlusky.

The troupe has been rehearsing for five weeks and are excited to show off all their hard work at the play tonight, so McKlusky encourages everyone to attend.

"While the younger students enjoy it, much of the humor is for adults," said McKlusky.

Janet Hart was in charge of costuming for the performance, and Mike Boligno does all the technical work involved in this kind of performance.

Admission for tonight's show is $5 and tickets are available at the door.
