Obituary: James William Graves

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[James William Graves, 59, of Mt. Vernon, Ind., passed away at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at the Mt. Vernon Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon, Ind.

He was born Nov. 12, 1951, in Gary, Ind., the son of William F. Graves and Peggy Lou (Bertenitti) Graves Reid.

Jim is survived by his father, William "Bill" and Sandra Graves of Omaha; three sisters, Christine and Dennis Meyer of South Chicago Heights, Gina and Shawn Breen of Omaha and Darla and Mike Sanchez of Wilmington; one sister-in-law, Denise Graves of Sauk Village; several dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Reid; and brother, Steve Graves.

There will be a memorial service for Jim at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. The Rev. Joe Patton will be officiating the service.
