Obituary: Bertha Evelyn Wren

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bertha Evelyn Wren, 72, of Eldorado, passed away at 2:35 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

Bertha was born in Pocahontas, Ark. on April 15, 1939, a daughter of the late Bertha (Diefendahl) and James Basinger.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Wren and Vernon Wood.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by 12 siblings.

Bertha is survived by two daughters, Wanda Wood of Harrisburg and Loretta Dishman of Eldorado; two sons, Vernon "Bud" Wood of Eldorado and Spurgeon Wood of Eldorado; five grandchildren, Cindy McGhee, Heather Wood, Patrick Wood, Vanessa Elliott Castros and Matthew Eoff; and five great-grandchildren, Jewell McGhee, Haiden McGhee, Caleb Castros, Landon Frymire and Ian Henson.

Private burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Eldorado. Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado is in charge of arrangements.
