Obituary: Louis Lee Edwards

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Louis Lee Edwards, 76, passed away at Salem Village Nursing Home in Joliet, Oct. 20, 2011.

He is survived by his brother, Mitchell Edwards and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph A. and Lillian E. Edwards, and his brother, Bobby Jo Edwards Sr. in 2011.

Louis was born Nov. 9, 1934, in Hardin County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was formerly employed with Caterpillar Tractor Company.

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Joliet, 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011. The Rev. Dale Steenhoven will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time.
