Obituary: Barbara Jane McCormack

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Barbara Jane McCormack, 85, of Eldorado, passed away at 9:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Fountainview Nursing Home.

Barbara was born in Harrisburg on Dec. 21, 1925, a daughter of the late Ida (Rude) and Otto Cox.

She was a member of Buena Vista Community Church.

She was a homemaker.

She was the widow of the late Thomas Lee McCormack.

Barbara is survived by a sister, Aline (Cecil) Gates, of Mattoon; a lifelong friend, Linda Hopson of Raleigh; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Sunset Lawn Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, with the Rev. Russell Helton officiating.
