Obituary: Sharon (Coffee) Kucewsky

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sharon (Coffee) Kucewesky, 68, of Anna, formerly of Virden, IL passed away at 11:03 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at Pleasant Hill Village, Girard.

Sharon was born Aug. 2, 1943 in Eldorado, a daughter of Kenneth Coffee and Marjorie (Davis) Coffee. Sharon was a 1961 graduate of Eldorado High School in Eldorado. She worked as a custodian at Virden High School, retiring after 20 years and was active in the Union County Mental Health program, teaching and being a spokesperson for the mental health community.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Sherry R. (Daryn) Heinisch of Thayer; her stepmother, Jean (Bill) Schmelzle of Fort Mill, S.C.; her sister, Carol M. (Russell) Edwards of Virden; her brother, Dwain R. Coffee of Kankakee; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kimberly S. Kucewesky; and a grandson, Devyn Greff.

Visitation was from 10 a.m. until service time at noon Tuesday Sept. 13, 2011, at the Calvert and Ferry Funeral Home, Virden, with the Rev. David Barnett officiating. Burial was in Virden Cemetery. Please visit the Internet site www.calvert-ferryfuneralhomes to leave a comment for the family.
