Obituary: Major (Ret.) Robert Edward Dalton

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[U.S Army Major (Ret.) Robert Edward Dalton, 46, Gurnee, formerly of Harrisburg, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at the James A. Lovell Veterans Hospital at the Great Lakes Naval Station, North Chicago.

A memorial service was held in the chapel of the Great Lakes Naval Station with his cremains to be interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

He is survived by his parents, Galen and Mary Dalton; his fiancee; six children; two grandchildren; two sisters; several nephews; a niece; and other relatives.
