Obituary: Anna Mae (Tate) Armstrong

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Anna Mae (Tate) Armstrong died on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, in Tempe, Ariz.

She was 80 years old and preceded in death by her husband, Robert Armstrong.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina Armstrong and her husband, John Ginter; her brother, Bill Tate; and two sisters, Donna Cloutre and Frances Shelton.

She was born in Saline County and attended school in Galatia, but due to health reasons, moved to Arizona in her twenties. She was very active in her community, quilting circle and her church.

Services are to be held at Friendship Village Chapel in Arizona at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011.
