Obituary: Jay W. Willis

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jay W. Willis, 72, of Grayville, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield.

He was born March 10, 1939, in Ridgway, the son of Aubrey and Roma (Dixon) Willis. He married Sandra Spencer and she survives.

Jay worked for many years at Champion Laboratories as a palletizer in the shipping department.

Survivors include his stepmother, Margaret Willis-Beeler and her husband Bill of Ridgway; wife, Sandra Willis of Grayville; brother, James Willis and wife Sheri of Ridgway; sister, Judy Willis of Ridgway; special cousin, Marsha Beasley of Grayville; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Roma Willis; three brothers, Terry Willis, Aubrey "Kayo" Willis and John Robinson; sister, Betty Lou Moye Wells; and favorite aunt, Marie Willis Beeler Walker.

Visitation is 5 to 7 pm, Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Funeral is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at Cook Funeral Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery near Equality.
