Obituary: Lola Rachel Justice

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lola Rachel Justice, 88, resident of Eagle, Mich., formerly of Eldorado, passed away at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at Eaton Community Hospice in Charlotte, Mich.

Lola was born in Louisville, Ky., on July 5, 1923, a daughter of the late Bertha (Wadell) and James Edwards.

She was a member of New Covenant Assembly in Eagle, Mich.

She was as a homemaker, a devoted Christian wife and mother and had a passion for volunteering and helping others.

She was the wife of Gerald Justice, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Lola is survived by a daughter, Joy (Gary) Suits of Eldorado; a stepson,Victor (Ann) Frost of Eldorado; grandchild, Kara Suits; two stepgrandchildren, Jonathan (Megan) Frost and Emily Frost, a niece and two nephews, Louise Burgess, Clyde Edwards and Paul Edwards; and a lifelong friend and extended family, Helen Birch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of over 20 years, Frank Carlton Martin; a brother, Dave Edwards; and a sister, Elaine Haycraft.

Funeral services will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, with the Rev. Gary Suits and the Rev. Royce Coy officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at the funeral home.
