Obituary: Brenda Jo Prather

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Brenda Jo Prather was born Feb. 7, 1951, in Owensboro, Ky. She left this life June 22, 2011, at Belleville at the age of 60.

Brenda is survived by two sons, Joshua Wayne Hurst (Lashaunda) and Shawn Richard Jackson (Jennifer); and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Juanita Albright; six brothers, George Thomas Payne, James Donald Payne, Anthony Bruce Payne, Michael Leroy Payne, Larry Payne and Rex Payne; and two sisters, Dorothy Payne and Shelia Payne.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Payne; and her daughter, Serena Marie Jackson.

A memorial service for Brenda will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at the Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado.
