Obituary: Jason Eric Stacey
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jason E. Stacey, 40, of Stonefort, passed away at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011, in Superior, W.Va., as a result of an accident.
He was born May 25, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to Joe and Judy (Dempsey) Stacey and they survive in Carrier Mills. On Sept. 14, 1991, he married Amy Blackman and she survives in Stonefort.
Jason worked as a field superintendent for Mike Dover Construction. He was a member of the Eddyville Masonic Lodge, the Harrisburg First Baptist Church and formerly the National Guard.
Surviving family members include his wife, Amy Stacey of Stonefort; two sons, Logan and Dylan Stacey of Stonefort; parents, Joe and Judy Stacey of Carrier Mills; brother, Jerry E. and wife Patti Stacey of Elizabethtown; sister, Janice and husband Mark Gibbons of Stonefort; father- and mother-in-law, Bob and Bea Blackman of Stonefort; brother- and sister-in-law, Matt and wife Tonya Blackman of Stonefort; and a special little girl, Chloe Horton of Harrisburg; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Mike Dover will officiate. Burial will follow in Reid's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg with Masonic Rites at 7 p.m. by the Eddyville Masonic Lodge. Memorial donations may be made to a scholarship fund for Logan and Dylan Stacey, or First Baptist Church Youth Ministries; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
