Obituary: Clara O. Farley

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Clara O. Farley, 89, of Galatia passed away at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday July 27, 2011, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.

She was born in Saline County on March 18, 1922, to the late William Ernest and Ida Belle (Tarlton) Sinsabaugh. Clara was married to James G. Farley and he preceded in October of 1993.

She attended Cornerstone Worship Center of Raleigh.

Clara is survived by three children, Jesse G. (Sharon) Farley, Jimmy D. (Barb) Farley and Cindy S. (Gary) Thompson; two stepdaughters, Joan Woods and Pearl Herrera; 14 grandchildren and stepgrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren; and two sisters, Carrie (Sinsabaugh) Reynolds and Callie (Sinsabaugh) Bukowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter Sheila D. Carlton; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; three sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday July 30, 2011, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday July 29, 2011, at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Abbott will officiate with burial in the Wolf Creek Cemetery in Eldorado.
