</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Edith Garris, 94, 1150 Jefferson St., Eldorado, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Fountain View Nursing Home, Eldorado.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Dennis Vaughn and the Rev. Jeff Roth officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the funeral home.

She was born in Eddyville on June 2, 1916, to Robert and Ida (Kelly) Stephenson. She was the widow of Pat Garris, who died on Aug. 3, 1990.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Star General Baptist Church and the Eldorado Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a son Kenneth (Yvonne) Garris of Cosby, Tenn.; a sister, Donna Leitz of Rantoul; two nieces, Diane Harrington and Connie McGiffin of Oklahoma; and four grandchildren, Patrick, David, Kyle and Kendal.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Bill Stephenson.
