Services were held 1 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Burial will be in Palestine Two Cemetery, Omaha. Visitation was 11 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Rister; a son; two stepdaughters; a granddaughter; five stepgrandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
