A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown with the Rev. Bob Powell officiating. In accordance with Don's wishes, he was cremated and his ashes will be interred later by the family.
He is survived by his wife, the former Alonya Thomas; a son; a brother; a sister-in-law; and a sister.
