Cora Lee Felty

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Cora Lee Felty, 99, 1609 S. Holland St., Harrisburg, died Monday, April 25, 2011, at her residence.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Keith Bunfill officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at the funeral home.

She was born on July 7, 1911, in East St. Louis to the late Abraham Lincoln and Minnie (Purnell) Fairchild. She married Ernest Felty on May 30, 1931, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1978.

She was a retired milliner, where she made caps at Harrisburg Manufacturing. She was a member of the Stonefort Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Ernest L. (Delice) Felty of Harrisburg; two daughters, Jane (Jim) Pankey of Milwaukee, Wis., and Carol (Don) Stout of Harrisburg; five grandsons, Dan Stout of Harrisburg, Mike Stout of Carrier Mills, Steven Thomas of Milwaukee, Wis., Terry B. Felty of Carrier Mills and Tracy Felty of Carrier Mills; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred "Midge" Hurley and Wilma Hurley of Ocala, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; stepfather, William Bennett; two brothers, Ira Fairchild and George Bennett; and two sisters, Alice Smith and Nellie McCabe.

Memorials may be made to the Stonefort Missionary Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
