Virginia Gulley
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Virginia Gulley, 90, Harrisburg, passed away 9:20 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
She was born July 17, 1920, in Brownfield, the daughter of the late John and Margaret Darnell Woodside. She married Harvey Gulley on Dec. 25, 1939, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1974.
Virginia worked at John's Cafe for several years.
She is survived by one daughter, Sylvia (Kenneth) Nolen; and one son, Don Gulley, all of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Doug Short of Harrisburg, Janice (Rob) Travelstead of Harrisburg, Kenny (Connie) Nolen of Harrisburg, Gina (Mark) Thomas of Harrisburg, Trent (Shelley) Gulley of Lanesville, Ind. and Grier (Jo Nell) Gulley of Harrisburg; eight great-grandchildren, Adam (Hanna) Nolen, Kaci Nolen, Mark Thomas, Nolen Thomas, Tyler Short, Callie Travelstead, Jonathon Gulley and Cassidy Gulley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Gulley; two daughters, Mary Lou Short and Mona Faye Gulley; three brothers, Tom, Charles and Joe Woodside; and two sisters, Mary Canup and Edna Trammel.
Graveside services will precede burial at Sunset Lawn Cemetery on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, with the Rev. Loy Barger officiating. There will be no visitation and those attending are asked to gather at the cemetery. The J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
