</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Arlene Elizabeth Williams, 50, 303 W. Sloan St., Harrisburg, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, at her residence.

A graveside service for the cremated remains will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Maplewood Cemetery, Marion. There will be no visitation; all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of the arrangements.

She was born on Aug. 15, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Arlie Dail and Clara Patricia (Taylor) Williams.

She was a retired preschool teacher and a member of the McKinley Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her father, Arlie (Glenda) Williams of Knoxville, Iowa; four sisters, Ann (Joshua) Joyner of Stonefort, Pam (Scott) La Botte of Carrier Mills, Tina Williams of McLeansboro and Yolanda Williams of Ottumwa, Iowa; a brother, John Williams of Ottumwa, Iowa; two uncles, Dale Taylor of Brooklyn, Ark. and Amos Taylor of Memphis, Tenn.; a cousin, Tony Taylor; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Stewart; and a brother, Jerry Turner.
