Mina Aileen Farris

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mina Aileen Farris, 93, lifelong resident of Eldorado, passed away Monday, April 4, 2011, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

She was born in Eldorado on July 31, 1917, to the late Lewis and Carrie (Phelps) Reeder. On Nov. 16, 1935, she married Albert R. Farris, who preceded her in death June 24, 1995.

She was a member of the Wasson Baptist Church.

Aileen is survived by a daughter, Carrie Ellen (Arthur) Foster of Eldorado; a brother, Lewis W. Reeder of Florida; three grandchildren, Kimberly Ellen (Steve) Brave of Marion, Krystal (Jim) McCure of Colleyville, Texas, and Kent (Laurie) Foster of Tampico; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Madeline Whipple; and five brothers, Ralph, Dalph, Edward, Wilburn and Junior.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Bill Tomberlin officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at the funeral home.

In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and may be left at the funeral home.
