</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lawrence Thomas "Big Tom" Renn, 53, rural McLeansboro, died 3:10 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Select Specialty Hospital, Evansville, Ind.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011, at First General Baptist Church in McLeansboro with the Rev. Ken Cook officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements are in the charge of Gholson Funeral Home, McLeansboro.

He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy E. Champlin; her father; three sons; two daughters-in-law; a daughter; a special nephew; a sister; a brother-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
