Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Wendy Reed officiating. Burial will be in Brush Harbor Cemetery. Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011, at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, Milford N. Boyer; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
