Steven K. Roberts

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Steven K. Roberts, 61, of Mission, Texas, formerly of Eldorado, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, in Mission, Texas.

He was born July 28, 1949, in Eldorado to the late A. Ronald and Helen Louise (Kane) Roberts.

Steve was a former owner/operator of Food Center grocery store in Eldorado, and was currently substitute teaching in Mission, Texas. He was an avid Cubs baseball fan and loved golfing.

Surviving are a son, Kane (Tammy) Roberts of Paducah, Ky.; and daughter, Elizabeth Roberts of Eldorado; four grandchildren, Lillie, Gracie, Brianna, August and one on the way; a special friend, Patricia Unsinn of Mission, Texas. Also surviving is a sister, Jane Meyers of Mission, Texas; two aunts, Betty Vinyard of McAllen, Texas and Eleanor (Richard) Dimmitt of Evansville, Ind; two cousins, Laura Dimmitt of Evansville, Ind. and Kathrynn Vinyard and her son Torin Goodnight of San Jose, Calif.; and a nephew, Justin Meyers.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Lindale Cemetery with the Rev. Steven Nyberg officiating. Those attending should go to the cemetery. Watson Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
