</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Patrick Morris, 73, Eldorado, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at Ferrell Hospital, Eldorado.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Cremation will follow the services and burial of cremated remains will be at Simmons Cemetery near Creal Springs at a later date.
He was born on March 5, 1937, in Chicago, the son of Oscar Flink and Nola Mary Norris.
He worked at several jobs during his lifetime, which included working at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville. He had a newsstand in Chicago, input data at the Secretary of State's office, had a landscaping business for many years, as well as a day care in his home for about eight years.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary Boyd of Island Lake; two sons, Michael Morris of Round Lake and Tom Morris of Spokane, Wash.; two brothers, George Dubish of San Diego, Calif. and James Payne of Burlington, Wash.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Theresa Morris and Joanne Wiseman; stepfather, John Schoden; his stepmother, Frances Schoden; and a very special friend, Virgie Smith.
