</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Carole (Allen) Kittle, 71, Manchester, Mo., formerly of McLeansboro, died 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at St. Clair Nursing Facility, St. Clair, Mo.

Services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Leland Widick officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery near McLeansboro. Visitation is 1 p.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, Louis E. Kittle; a son; two daughters; a brother; a sister; five grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
