</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Helen Roberts, 88, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at her home in Cedarburg, Wis.
Born in Doniphan, Mo. on Sept. 18, 1922, Mrs. Roberts was married to Lindal Roberts, also of Doniphan, on March 31, 1941.
She was a homemaker and, later, following a move from Harrisburg to Mequon, Wis., in 1970, an assistant department manager for Sears until her retirement in the Milwaukee area.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Harrisburg and enjoyed spending time at her cabin on the Current River near Doniphan, Mo., gardening, playing bridge and socializing with her friends.
Helen is survived by her two daughters, Linda Roberts Ellsworth of Cedarburg, Wis. and Carol Roberts Blackman of Marion; two sons, Jim Roberts of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Doug (Ellen) Roberts of Mequon, Wis.; her seven grandchildren, Shelby Blackman Gerretsen of O'Fallon, Mo., Chris Ellsworth, of Columbia, Md., Jessica and Corey Roberts of Mequon, Wis., Allysen Roberts of Phoenix, Ariz., Bryan Roberts of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Sean Roberts of Faulkner, Md.; and great-granddaughter, Isabelle Clark of O'Fallon, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Gibson and Essie Johnson Gibson of Poynor, Mo.; and by her husband, Lindal, who passed away in May 1980.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, Mo., with the Rev. John Harwell of the First Christian Church of Doniphan, Mo., officiating.
