</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ruth Jane Farris, 89, Madisonville, Ky., died at 5:42 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at the Hillside Villa Care and Rehabilitation Center, Madisonville, Ky.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville, Ky., with Gene Rickard officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, Ky. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, and noon to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

She is survived by a daughter, three sons, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
