</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Alice Sharpe Davis, 89, University Park, Fla., formerly of McLeansboro, died 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Sun City Center, Fla.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Tony Auxier officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

She was the widow of John Wesley Davis. She is survived by a daughter; a son-in-law; a granddaughter; three sisters; and a grandchild.
