Harry L. Morris

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Harry L. Morris, 96, Harrisburg, passed away at 8:46 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010.

Harry was born on Saturday, June 13, 1914, in Harrisburg to the late Harry and Anna (Herrmann) Morris. Harry was never married. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Harrisburg.

Harry is survived by a niece, Arlene Balabas and husband Bill of Eldorado; niece, Carolyn Jurjens and husband Roy of Bethalto; niece, Barbara Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; three great-nephews, Brad Balabas and wife Barbara of O&#39;Fallon, Jason Balabas of Arlington Heights and Andy DeBose and wife Michelle of O&#39;Fallon; two great-nieces, Tina Gregory and husband Robert of Satsuma, Ala. and Christina McGuiggan and husband Mike of Wood River; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Morris and Joseph Morris; and two sisters, Anna Stout and Gladys Austin.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Roger Lipe will officiate. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery. Arrangements are in the charge of Reed Funeral Chapel, Harrisburg.
