</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Kathy Jo Reimer, 46, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010.
She was born Aug. 7, 1964, to Wiley Earin Riden Sr. and Ina Mildred (Lane) Riden. She graduated from Harrisburg High School, attended Murray State University for three years and graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She was a member of the SIU alumni.
She leaves behind a son, Jacob Robert "Buddy" Reimer, who was the love of her life; mother, Ina Riden; sister, Karen (Mike) Davis; sister, Debbie (Bob) Wilson; sister, Joan (Matthew) Hancock; and brother, Michael Riden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a father, Wiley Riden Sr.; and her brother, Wiley Riden Jr.
Kathy was a very compassionate person who positively influenced the lives of many people with her love and generosity. The loved ones she leaves behind will surely miss her warm, inviting smile, her soft voice, her humor and most of all, her love. Her memory will shine on in the lives of all she touched.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Tom Emmerson will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the 4C's or the ASPCA. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
