Shirley Kay Morris

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mrs. Shirley Kay Morris, 68, of Eldorado, passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at her residence.

She was the wife of Loren Morris, who survives.

Shirley was born in Eldorado on April 29, 1942, the daughter of the late Fred and Wanda (Benson) Orr. She was a member of Star General Baptist Church. She worked as a homemaker.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Dwayne) Stanbery of Wisconsin and Kim (Bryan) Brewer of Oregon, Ill.; a son, Kevin (Carla) Morris of Eldorado; a sister, Donna Moore of Carterville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Gwaltney. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with Aaron Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at the funeral home.
