Wilma Doris Gee
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Wilma Doris Gee, 93, Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Harrisburg, passed away on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at the University Heights Nursing Home in Indianapolis.
Wilma was born on Jan. 19, 1917, in Eldorado to the late Iley and Myrtle (Burks) Brown. On Sept. 4, 1938, she married Charles "Huck" Gee, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1969. Wilma was a retail clerk cashier at IGA for many years. She was a Baptist by faith.
Surviving family members include a son, John (Barbara) Gee of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughter, Linda (Webb) Commean of Greenwood, Ind.; daughter, Myrna (Phillip) Tucker Morse of Hazelwood, Mo.; brother-in-law, Gene and wife Rolene Murphy of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Delma Childers and Alverda Klucavich; and two brothers-in-law, James "Jake" and Robert Humphrey.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Ron Reed will officiate. Burial will follow in Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made in her name to the charity of the donor's choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
