Mark A. Kohl

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mark A. Kohl, 51, lifelong resident of Ridgway, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, in Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Ind.

Mark was born on April 2, 1959, in Mount Vernon to his loving mother, Rita Kohl, who survives.

Mark graduated from Ridgway High School and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ridgway. He worked his entire adult life on the farm, first helping his grandfather and then for many years working with Foster Farms. Mark was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting and fishing. He loved to garden and be outside. Mark was a good son, companion, nephew and friend. He will be so missed by the community.

Mark is survived by his mother, Rita Kohl of Ridgway; his companion, Stephanie Golden of Ridgway; one uncle, Bob and Retha Kohl of St. Louis, Mo.; and one aunt, Marie and Bernie Mitchell of Enfield. He is also survived by many cousins and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Rose Kohl; an uncle, Junior Kohl; and a aunt, Helen French.

Visitation for Mark will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass for Mark will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at the St. Joseph Church in Ridgway with Fr. Steven Beatty as celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
