Loudene Price
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Loudene Price, 96, of Pawnee, died Nov. 16, 2010, at Auburn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Auburn.
Loudene was born Oct. 13, 1914, in Galatia, the daughter of Homer and Zetta Smith Gill. She married George Everett Price on Jan. 26, 1935, in Benton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett in 1975; a son, Lanny Ray Price; two brothers; and one sister.
Loudene was a member of the Pawnee Assembly of God Church since 1958, where she served as a senior pastor and taught Sunday School for 35 years. On her 90th birthday, Loudene delivered a sermon to the Pawnee Assembly of God's congregation. In addition to her church involvement, Loudene was named Pawnee Lady of the Year, and the mayor of Pawnee proclaimed Loudene Price Day.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda D. (husband Willard) Gonterman of Chatham; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was at the Pawnee Assembly of God in Pawnee from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010. A funeral service was at the church at 10:30 a.m. on Friday with the Rev. A.B. Bennett officiating. Additional services will be at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at the funeral home with the Rev. Rodney Joplin officiating. Burial will be in the Tates Chapel Cemetery in Galatia.
Memorials honoring Loudene's life may be made to the Pawnee Assembly of God.
