Scarlet L. Dunn

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Scarlet L. Dunn, 59, of 1006 E. Griggs St., Marion, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at the Fountains in Marion, surrounded by her family.

It was Scarlet&#39;s request to be cremated. Graveside services for cremated remains will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills with the Rev. John Tucker officiating. There will be no visitation; all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes will be available at the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Nov. 19, 1950, in Saline County to the late Carl and Eva (Lawrence) Manier.

She married Donald Dunn on Sept. 17, 2003, who survives.

She was a certified nursing assistant for Addus Home Health Care. She was also a member of the Carrier Mills First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Dunn of Marion; daughter, Rachel (Lester) Bryant of Harrisburg; son, Adam (Monica) Wilson of Belleville; two grandchildren, Tucker Bryant and Jack Wilson; two brothers, Carl (Sharon) Manier of Goreville and Bill (Dawn) Manier of Bluford; a sister, Charlotte (Jerry) Ruby of Gillette, Wyo.; and several nieces and nephews.
