</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Garry Taborn, 68, 119 Wiley St., Carrier Mills, died 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, Ind.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Carrier Mills. Visitation is noon to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was born on Dec. 31, 1941, in Carrier Mills to the late Hubert and Wanda (Riley) Taborn.

He married Cindy Malone on Nov. 18, 2002, and she survives.

He was a retired construction worker.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Taborn of Carrier Mills; four daughters, Lana Taborn of Carrier Mills, Carla Mitchell of Douglasville, Ga., Angela Keene of Powder Springs, Ga. and Shirley Hamilton of Harrisburg; a son, Valado Taborn of Carrier Mills; a brother, Uvon Taborn; two sisters, Theresa Taborn of Carrier Mills and Julene Miller of Champaign; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Taborn; sister, Vera Taborn; and two brothers, Ricky Taborn Sr. and Donald Taborn.
