</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Marilyn Rollins Witherspoon, 67, of Evansville, Ind., died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at the John and Betty Hospice Charlier Center in Evansville, Ind.
Marilyn was born July 11, 1943, to Eva Cole Rollins and Reuben Lewis Rollins Sr. in Carrier Mills. She was preceded in death by a precious son, Joseph Chad Witherspoon, on Aug. 19, 1972. Her mother, Eva, died on Feb. 26, 1989, and her father, Reuben, died on May 3, 1993. Her two brothers, Vernon Rollins, died Jan. 24, 2005, and Louis Oliver Rollins Sr. died Dec. 26, 2009. Marilyn was a devoted mother, friend, and her love for Jehovah God was great. She dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized Feb. 23, 1985, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She attended the South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Evansville, Ind.
She loved her family very much and unselfishly gave her time, energy, and love to them all. She is survived by three daughters, Della A. Apaloo of Clarksville, Tenn., Christie D. Keortge of Evansville, Ind., and Jana Nance of Evansville, Ind.; three sons, Jay B. Rollins of Pontiac, Ray Witherspoon of Denver, Colo., and Jason A. Witherspoon of Harrisburg; a brother, Reuben Rollins Jr. of Flint, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, Brock, Derek, Demetry, Austin, Jonathan, Timothy, James, Elijah, Jillian, Josephine, Jordan, Aaliyah and Dallas. She also is survived by five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Patience, Paris, Jasmine, and Corday.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time. Immediately following the funeral will be a meal for family and friends at the Carrier Mills Municipal Building. A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1530 Burdette Ave., Evansville, Ind.
